Vision, experience, resources

Dana Mulder is the founder and principal of the Mulder Design Group. She has more than 25 years of experience in the practice of landscape architecture.

Dana received her Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) degree from the University of Michigan in 1989 and was first registered with the State of Michigan in that same year. She is a long term member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Michigan Society of Landscape Architects (MSLA).

Dana founded the Mulder Design Group to bring a highly professional and creative approach to residential landscape design in the Detroit area. She was determined to bring the skills and professionalism of a large, commercial landscape architecture firm to clients who would not normally have access to such a resource.

Mulder Design Group has maintained long standing relationships with the area’s top landscape contractors, wholesale nurseries and builders in order to offer an integrated approach for clients – from design to complete construction services.
